We refer to the announcement on 31 October 2023 to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in relation to the Notice of the 21st AGM of YNH dated 31 October 2023.

We wish to announce that the Board of Directors of YNH had received a letter dated 4 December 2023 from the Company's existing Auditors, Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng PLT that they do not wish to seek re-appointment as External Auditors of the Company at the forthcoming AGM to be held on 8 December 2023.  Pursuant to Section 273(b) of the Companies Act 2016, Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng PLT shall cease to hold office at the conclusion of the AGM to be held on 8 December 2023. 

Therefore, the Board of Directors resolved to withdraw “Ordinary Resolution 7 - To Re-appoint Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng PLT as the Auditors of The Company and to Authorise The Board Of Directors to Fix their Remuneration” from the Notice of the 21st AGM.

The Board is not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company. The Company will commence efforts to identify a suitable audit firm and will seek to appoint new auditors in place of Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng PLT as soon as practicable.

The Company will make further announcement in due course.
